If you follow us on Instagram, you know that we eat a lot of tortillas. From breakfast burritos and tacos to cheesy quesadillas, they are a constant in our refrigerator. The boys love to have simple burritos with just cheese and scrambled eggs or an afternoon snack of a buttery tortilla sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar.
After testing countless tortilla brands, I have finally narrowed down the best store-bought tortillas. Tortillas are also one of those things that dry out over time, so I strongly encourage you to test out the local tortillas that your market or farmers market offers. There are usually lots of delicious fresh local options, especially in a city like LA.
If your family eats a lot of tortillas, look for the Tortilla Fresca Uncooked Flour Tortillas at Costco. I freeze half of them and keep the other half in the fridge. They are a doughy, soft flour tortilla that folds and stretches easily when making breakfast burritos. Definitely a new favorite!
And, if you are gluten-free, grain-free, or just trying to lay off grains for a while, Siete Foods makes a number of tortillas with alternative flours like Cassava and Almond that are really very good, too.
