The Date Shake
The Date Shake Recipe is an amazing and healthy alternative to any vanilla ice cream treats you would normally have.
- 1/2 C nut milk of choice
- 1/2 C canned full fat coconut milk, shake the can before adding
- 3–4 dates, pitted
- 1 tsp pure vanilla powder or vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 C ice
Place the nut milk, coconut milk, dates, vanilla powder, cinnamon, sea salt, and lemon juice in a blender. Add ice and blend until creamy, still allowing some little bits of date to float around. Pour in a glass and enjoy!
Add frozen bananas when blending and top with our Coconut Whipped Cream for an extra special dessert.
