The Date Shake

The Date Shake Recipe is an amazing and healthy alternative to any vanilla ice cream treats you would normally have. 

Ingredients

Serves 1

  • 1/2 C nut milk of choice
  • 1/2 C canned full fat coconut milk, shake the can before adding
  • 34 dates, pitted
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla powder or vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 C ice

Instructions

Place the nut milk, coconut milk, dates, vanilla powder, cinnamon, sea salt, and lemon juice in a blender. Add ice and blend until creamy, still allowing some little bits of date to float around. Pour in a glass and enjoy!

Notes

Add frozen bananas when blending and top with our Coconut Whipped Cream for an extra special dessert.
